The manager heard what Jessica wanted to tell him. After hearing everything, he looked at the table where those police officers were sitting, obviously, without them noticing. He didn’t find anything unusual. To him, it seemed like they were just passing a time here in the restaurant after a hectic shift. The manager asked Jessica to take some rest or if she wants she can go home to have a better rest. But Jessica refused the suggestion.
