The caretakers immediately started her treatment with antibiotics. No doubt, it was quite late to do so and they themselves were suspicious about its result. But they gave it a try anyway. However, it was not an easy feat to get her on treatment. Initially, the lioness refused to get the antibiotic but gradually began to take that.
