Tropical Islands Resort, the world’s biggest indoor water park, is located in Krausnick, Germany. Originally constructed as a zeppelin hangar, the building never housed the airship it was meant for. A Malaysian company later purchased the hangar and converted it into the spectacular adventure park it is today, featuring a rainforest, beach, artificial sunlight, palm trees, and various pools. The largest of these is the 140-meter ‘Tropical Sea,’ covering an area of 4,400 square meters and designed to mimic the waters of Coral Island.
