The handsome groom was a bit confused while planning out the surprise for his bride. A typical female probably has all the things shopped before her wedding day. Right from cosmetics, hair accessories, jewelry clothing, and footwear. This made this groom's task even more tedious one. Despite this, he was able to figure out something that he would be gifting his to-be life partner. You will be amazed to see what he plans when it unwraps on their wedding day.
As they say, women are way too excited about their wedding day. This bride proves it again. While the groom was confused initially, what he will be gifting to his wife, this bride already had her cards at work. Finally, the day was there. The day the bride and groom had been looking forward to. It was Christmas time and the entire celebration's craze multiplied manifold. All the heads at the wedding reception turned towards the voice that shouted, "Look beneath your chairs. There's something beneath it". The guests searched their respective chairs and found a small envelope. The guests were just inspecting the envelope that the bride again intervened and diverted the crowd's attention towards her. What she says next blows everyone away...
Everyone was eager to find what was this special gift but the bride again aggravated the suspense. The bride continued speaking. She reminds everyone that as mentioned earlier in the evening, she had placed a small gift for the guests to find. It was barely a gift costing some $3 each, but it had something priceless instore. As directed by the bride, everyone unwraps the gift. They found a Dunkin' Donuts' voucher inside. Everybody was surprised to see that. Why did the bride gift a donut to everyone? Before anyone could wrap their head around the gift, the bride again disrupted. And what she says now bewilders the crowd. What could have the bride said which left the audience so confused?
The bride says, " Sorry to say, but this voucher is not for you but for someone else". This statement of the bride further puzzled the audience. For whom was this gift planned? If they were not the actual receivers of this present, then who was? "This is for someone who all of us know but still doesn't know. These men crowding my husband will provide you the answer for same'', the bride mentioned further. Now, who were these six men holding onto the answer regarding the ownership of these gifts?
The attention once again shifted from the surprise gift to those anonymous six men standing next to the groom. The bride introduced the men as her special guests. They were not only tall and well-built but something more. The bride called these," The Groomsmen". They were brothers to one another in one manner or the other. But, the question remained the same, what were they doing here and who exactly were they?
These men were not only brothers but were also fellow police officers to her husband. Admiring the men and her husband who was sitting right next to the table beside her the bride calls these men as "courageous, dedicated, selfless, headstrong". Suddenly, the crowd got even more suspicious about there presence. Every individual was wondering about the link which bridges together the bride, the groom, these men, and the wedding gift.
On hearing such powerful words in their honor, the six police officers folded their arms and listened to the bride's speech further with pride. She added," They are the only men one can rely on the times of need, they are always available for all of us. Dear husband here's me presenting you with your wedding gift". As the gift unfolded it brought much of the room to tears...
The bride touches on a very serious matter. The way the general public treat other policemen and her husband was truly unfair. She says, "The lack of respect they have to face on a daily basis is really disturbing". She wants the people to respect these brave individuals who are always there for us in our hard times. She recalls a day from her to-be husband's life when he was on his duty and people threw rocks and bottles at them to show their anger. Despite that, these brave officers continue to serve the nation for our well being. Every day these men get up and wear their uniform to protect those who harm them. Then she reminds the guests of someone who these men leave behind when it comes to their duties.
The bride made everyone realize that these officers had to run at a single call for help. They have to leave behind their families. They don't have the choice of not reporting for their duty. The bride continues, " Honey, I know the importance of your work and I understand the duty you and these six men have to serve needs dedication". She then links those donuts' cards with something...
Donuts and policemen go together. Maybe the cartoon series like "Simpsons" made us believe that or may it be the films. The bride took this way too seriously. She asks the guests to gift the Dunkin' Donuts' voucher to one policeman in their neighborhood or in their locality as a gift of gratitude and thank them for everything they do for us. These men need to be respected for what all they have been doing for us. The groom's reaction to this will amaze you further.
With her emotional speech, the bride left the groom teary-eyed. He could not thank her enough for what all she just said. The groom says, " Thank You for understanding me and my profession that well. Not only did you respect me, but all the other police officers out there. I could have not received a wedding gift better than this one".
