After taking his time and giving his speech to the little girl he would soon call his daughter, Jefferson was able to close off without any problem. He ended his speech by lastly telling his stepdaughter, “I love you!” His voice was shaking and he was also evidently starting to cry as well. He started to break down and was overcome with emotions.
