Happy Endings
Finally, they bid a final goodbye to the rescuers and the villagers. The baby elephant was starving with hunger and so were the adult elephants. They needed to restart the procession right away. The baby elephant hid among the adult ones and they made sure not to take any more risk as they had enough adventures already. The villagers too thanked the officers for coming at such short notice and helping the poor baby elephant. As the stars glimmered in the sky, the officials too started to pack and heard huge trumpets of the elephants from a distance. They knew they were showing their happiness and wondered if the baby too had the strength to trumpet now.
