After seeing this image one can easily say that this might be an actual scene after some natural disaster, right? Wrong. This image is of a stadium known as the Silverdome which was once home to the Detroit Lions football team who left the stadium for their new home Ford Field in 2002. The Silverdome has hosted several world-class events including the Super Bowl, an event specifically for the pope, the NBA finals, an Elvis concert, and numerous other amazing events during its heyday. In 2009, one company purchased the stadium and planned to turn this stadium into a soccer stadium but nothing happened and it was left abandoned and it looks damn scary.
